The Holy Bible, also referred to as The Holy Scriptures, is a Text used by the Roman Catholic Church to teach its faith in and about Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit inspired the Leaders of the Church to come together at Carthage in 397. It was subsequently known as the Council of Carthage.

At that time, there were no persons available to continue the oral tradition of sharing the Good News about Jesus Christ.

Many texts/books were written over time that were meant to be records of what was shared by various people, including disciples of Jesus Christ

At the Council of Carthage, the Holy Spirit inspired the Leaders of the Church, and they selected 73 texts/books to be known as The Holy Bible, today.

All Scripture in the Holy Bible has Jesus Christ at the focus and centre of the faith of the Catholic Church.
